Refreshing Ruby Red.

I just 'discovered' Erin Gallagher and her lovely jewelry designs. My current desire? The Mae Earrings in ruby & 10k gold.

The best part is that you can even choose your favorite earring back: post, clip-on, french hook or my personal favorite, the ever-so-secure leverback.

Simple. Classy. Pretty.

Show Your iPod Some Love.

If you are anything like me, you can't possibly survive a day without your iPod. If that's even the tiniest bit true, check out the Das Blau 'Versa'. It may just be the most stylish and versatile iPod case yet.

My favorite feature (aside from the punchy leather colors and contrasting print linings)? The belt clip turns into a handy stand, leaving access to the dock connector for charging and syncing. Seriously, how cool- how useful- is that!?

Das Blau, you have won my heart.

Available in 8 color combinations and 4 sizes.

Red, White, and Blue. Er, Minus the White.

I adore the color combination of blue and red. Nothing is as fabulous as say... a red polka dot dress with navy or teal pumps. It's wild and a little bit kooky but somehow it works.

Now, admittedly, blue and red isn't for everyone. But, if you're intrigued, even just a tiny bit, take a gander at these fabulous silver and enamel earrings from Coko NYC. Quite a bit more understated than the dress/shoe ensemble suggested above, they'll add a bit of flair to almost anyone's look.

Ahoy, Matey.

Skulls have been a subversive little movement for some time now, surfacing in collections by Lucien Pellat-Finet, Luella Bartley, and Thomas Wylde. Starlets including Carmen Electra, Ashlee Simpson, Nicole Richie have shown some love for the trend, sporting a signature skull print scarf by Alexander McQueen.

I stumbled upon this slightly wild, but endearingly kitschy verson at Amici Accessories. Since I'm not willing to spend big bucks on the original, this is a rockin' substitute. I'll give it a go as a hair scarf at the beach (wink) or a neck scarf a la Patti Smith.
