The word "covet"means"to yearn, have or indulge inordinate desire, notably for another's possession." Well, yearning is no longer required thanks to Covet Shop, a new online resource for authenticated designer merchandise.

Thus far, I've only window shopped Covet - but there's a great assortment of clothing, handbags and shoes on site. My personal fave - so on trend - are the Maison Martin Margiela Slash Ankle Boots, shown left. I'm not sure if it's unfortunate or fortunate that these aren't my size (they're a 10 for the record) as they're $425, with an original retail value of close to $1,000.

You can also sell your merchandise via Covet as you would to a brick & mortar consignment shop. Those in NYC can go to the site's offices (or they'll come to you!) and if you're located elsewhere, you can send the unloved (but in season) pieces of your wardrobe in.  To learn more about the selling process, click here.
