Weathering the winter in cold weather climes like New York can be a tricky proposition - particularly when you remain as DETERMINED as I am to do so in style. Last year's heinous atrocity of a season included more snow than I remember seeing since my childhood many moons ago, and I relied solely on an easy pair of suede wedge booties from Nine West to weather the proverbial - and ACTUAL -storms.
Needless to say, while the booties served me well, suede probably wasn't the WISEST choice for winter footwear. This season, things will be a little different as I'll be rocking the sleek Marla by Cougar Boots. Built for PERFORMANCE, the Marla is guaranteed (that's not a typo, peeps) waterproof, and promised to remain comfy and cozy as temperatures dip far below zero. But for shallow types like me, you'll be equally as pleased to know that the Marla's sleek, hiking-boot style silhouette, 2+ inch heel and cozy "polar plus" (it looks like shearling!) lining will keep you looking chic even in cold, miserable weather.
The Marla retails for $180. Snag a pair of your own, or explore other Cougar styles over at www.cougarboots.com.
