Bath & Body Works' new 'Find Your Fragrance' widget is a fun little distraction! Drag and drop up to six icons that represent your mood (i.e. a shoe or a lipstick...you can see where my mind is...) into the bottle and the site generates not only your 'fragrance mood' (i.e. fresh, fruity, floral) but also a recommendation for your signature scent!
Bath & Body Works has graciously offered up one full size Eau de Toilette (value of $25) to a random eye4style reader. To enter, simply visit www.bbwfindyourfragrance.com, find your signature fragrance and leave a comment here with the name of the scent selected for you!
One winner will be chosen at random next Thursday, August 27 at Noon.
When I was a pre-teen, Bath & Body WorksSun Ripened Raspberry was IT. All of the girls that I knew spritzed and slathered it all over their bodies in the locker room after gym class while I pouted that I didn't have a bottle of my own. BBW has come a long way since then and a recent summer addition, the True Blue Morocco Collection, truly brings the scents to a new level of complexity and sophistication.
My current love is the Saffron & Fig Shower Gel. The relaxing scent of golden saffron (the world's most expensive spice) mixes and melds with the aroma of rich black figs, eastern spices and just a dash of Moroccan clementine and lemon. Packed with conditioning shea butter, the gel leaves skin gently moisturized.
You can snag a bottle of your own for $15 at Bath & Body Works stores nationwide or via this link.
The sweet smell of jasmine, tuberose and mate mix and mingle to create Optimism, the newest spring addition to Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy collection. Best enjoyed in the effective, sugar-based Sudsing Scrub, the bright and cheery floral is a GREAT pick-me-up for those early morning showers - and I personally dig that one chipper little tube offers both cleansing and exfoliating functionality. With all of the bottles and jars found in my shower, I'll take a multi-tasker when the opportunity arises; thank you very much.
Pick up a tube at Bath & Body Works stores or on site for $13.
Looking to get yourself in the holiday spirit? Look no further than three of the candles above...with one bonus gift-y suggestion!
Caswell-Massey's Holiday Spice Soy Candle smells exactly like Christmas should - it's a traditional blend of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, ginger, vanilla and juniper berries and leaves the entire room (or apartment, as the case may be) smelling beyond festive. It's giant and packaged in a luxe box, so it would also make a perf. gift for the candle lover in your life.
Hillhouse Natural's Pomegranate Frost is a less predictable take on holiday. A rich, heady blend of pomegranates, currants and sugar plum leave your house smelling heavenly! Also available are the fresh, aromatic Balsam Wreath, classic Spiced Pear and spicy Cinnabark.
Harry Slatkin's candles for Bath & Body Works are my hands-down, inexpensive fave. The simple reason? Statkin uses a higher percentage of scented oil than any candle brand on the market so the scents have amazing throw. Not to mention, they burn evenly without any pesky maintenance. The Evergreen scent smells exactly like a live tree, giving an air of sophistication to my Target fake!
My pick from Zensual has nothing to do with Holiday, I must admit. But - hear me out! - these exotic candles would make an absolutely stellar gift for almost anyone. They're packaged beautifully in a giftable box and the frosted, gold-embossed glass is wrapped in delicate tissue. Best of all, the fragrances go far beyond the expected. Try Italian Bergamot & Mimosa for a light, effervescent scent.

17 degree wind chills this weekend have left my skin feeling tight and dry. Thankfully, a handy little tub of Bath & Body Works Shea Cashmere Body Cream ($17.50) entered my life and I've never been so grateful.
This thick, rich cream - it has the consistency of and smells just like vanilla pudding - sinks into skin with zero grease. Skin is left super soft (winter be damned) and lightly scented.
The Shea Cashmere line uses shea butter and cashmere extract to moisturize. If you're like me and dig the Body Cream, give the thick, rich Shower Cream a try as well!
