This Thursday, I had the honor of presenting a case study on last year's Estée Lauder Companies Breast Cancer Awareness campaign at BlogHer Business. Now, I've spoken on panels before, but at events that skewed more fashion than business. So the evening prior, I had an intense internal debate on what to wear.
Should I go the more classic business route? Perhaps rely on a bold, printed Diane von Furstenberg wrap dress (as I am prone to do)? In the end, I decided to wear what made me feel most comfortable and most like myself, hence the look below.

Head to toe, here's what I was wearing:
- Kimberly McDonald Geode & Diamond Earrings (gift of the designer)
- Loeffler Randall Silk Linen Blazer
- J.Crew Eliza Camisole (no longer available, and clearly a wardrobe STAPLE as I've featured it in OOTD's time and time again!)
- LOFT Necklace (gift of LOFT, not yet available)
- Gap Cropped Skinny Jean in White Wash (limited sizes available on sale here)
- Miu Miu Peep Toes (these have a spectacular jeweled heel, which isn't visible here)
I'm always seeking inspiration, so do tell - what's your go-to outfit when you want to feel confident and stylish?
