When I was a teenager, I had perfect skin. Then I hit my mid-20's and stress and hard living (ahem) began to take their toll. As such, I'm now in my early (VERY early, thank you very much) 30's and plagued with oily, problem skin.
This season's heinous, humid, hot weather have only exacerbated the problem, but blessedly, I have Origins new Zero Oil Deep Pore Cleanser in my summer beauty arsenal. This foaming cleanser is powerful AND gentle, and formulated with skin-clearing Saw Palmetto, cooling Mint and pore-minimizing Salicylic Acid.
When paired with a pea-sized amount of the Zero Oil Daily Lotion, it's been working wonders to tighten my pesky pores and to eliminate excess oil and reduce shine throughout the day.
I'm not the only one who loves this stuff - it's actually got all 5 star reviews at Origins. Snag a tube for yourself for $18.50.
FTC Disclosure: Origins is a client, and I'm grateful for that - their products are great!

I tucked Sephora's Makeup Removing Wipes in my suitcase before leaving New York, convinced that they would be the perfect cleanser for travel. Unfortunately, they positively killed my skin, leaving it irritated and nearly peeling in particularly sensitive spots.
In a desperate attempt at skin rescue, I snagged a Nuxe Paris travel kit at a pharmacie in Paris this week and it included the most divine cleanser, the Lait Demaquillant aux 3 Roses.
This creamy cleansing milk is fragranced with delicate jasmine notes and it gently yet effectively cleanses the skin, without stripping it of moisture (hello, that's key...Sephora, are you listening?)
A natural cocktail of 3 Roses (Red, Black and White), anti-oxidant Vitamin E and Hazelnut Oil nourish and moisturize the skin, while Orange Floral Water relaxes and calms. If you're in the market for a cleanser that's suitable for sensitive skin and truly a pleasure to experience, I'd suggest you give it a try.
When a dermatologist confirmed that I had "sensitive skin," I was amazed. Apparently, the world is full of women who think that they have sensitive skin and actually don't...but I was the rare exception. What can I say? I am specia.
But, of course, taking care of sensitive skin is a total bitch. Pardon my French. I need to be VERY, very careful when choosing products or changing my skincare routine, so I was hesitant to try Collective Wellbeing's Cleansing Paste ($13). Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised.
This thick oatmeal and raspberry based natural cleanser removes dirt and oil, without leaving skin stripped. Apparently, the oatmeal has high fiber content which aids in the absorption of debris while the raspberries contain fruit acids that work to VERY gently exfoliate skin.
You can snag Collective Wellbeing products, including the Cleansing Paste, at stores nationwide and also at www.collectivewellbeing.com
