Plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salhauer, author of the truly repugnant children's book My Beautiful Mommy, has done himself one better (or worse, depending on your perspective.)
This month, he launches iSurgeon, an iPhone App that combines "personal image modification with high tech gaming features."
According to Dr. Salzhauer, “iSurgeon serves a dual purpose, offering those interested in cosmetic surgery treatments a clear visual of what they would look like post-surgery, while also providing a fun entertaining game tool that allows the user to play the role of a plastic surgeon.” The app will sell for $0.99 and launches on November 19th.
The press materials stress that "never has the world seen something quite like this," perhaps that's a good thing? What do you think about iSurgeon?
If you're a fan of Victoria’s Secret PINK, I have some scoop for you! The brand is launching PINK Nation, an exclusive club where members receive free gifts, exclusive offers, special access and the inside scoop on everything PINK.
The site will launch in April but from now through March 31st, you'll get some exclusive perks for being an early VIP: A FREE gift (no purchase required, you print a voucher from the site and redeem in store) and a coupon for $10 off a $35 purchase. This offer will not be available once the site goes live officially, so click here to register!
p.s. I'm pretty sure that VS is considering an iPhone app; the poll question on site is "Do you have an iPhone?'
Move over Style.com, Ralph and Chanel. Lucky, still my very fave magazine, is launching their own iPhone app this Wednesday.
Dubbed Lucky at Your Service, you'll be able to shop select mag features (like the March Shoe Guide) via zip code or GPS searches. Expect content to be updated monthly.
