$22.00 by Nuxe Paris at b-glowing
I tucked Sephora's Makeup Removing Wipes in my suitcase before leaving New York, convinced that they would be the perfect cleanser for travel. Unfortunately, they positively killed my skin, leaving it irritated and nearly peeling in particularly sensitive spots.
In a desperate attempt at skin rescue, I snagged a Nuxe Paris travel kit at a pharmacie in Paris this week and it included the most divine cleanser, the Lait Demaquillant aux 3 Roses.
This creamy cleansing milk is fragranced with delicate jasmine notes and it gently yet effectively cleanses the skin, without stripping it of moisture (hello, that's key...Sephora, are you listening?)
A natural cocktail of 3 Roses (Red, Black and White), anti-oxidant Vitamin E and Hazelnut Oil nourish and moisturize the skin, while Orange Floral Water relaxes and calms. If you're in the market for a cleanser that's suitable for sensitive skin and truly a pleasure to experience, I'd suggest you give it a try.
L'oreal Micro-smoothing Wet Cleansing Towelettes
Let's face facts, I'm LAZY. So, when I come home at night, it takes enormous effort to do things like, oh, WASH MY FACE. Or REMOVE MY EYE MAKEUP. As such, I tend to resort to makeup removing towelettes from various brands, most of which suck. It's unfortunate, I know.
L'Oreal's new-ish Skin Genesis Micro-Smoothing Wet Cleansing Towelettes are quite different. Meaning, they don't suck at all. They're pleasantly soaked with liquid and effectively cleanse the skin, without leaving the pesky residue that most other disposable cloths do. I was lucky enough to pick these up at a discount at the L'Oreal Company Store, thanks to my recent participation in the Total Beauty Blogger Summit, but you can snag them at a drugstore near you for the all together reasonable price of $7.99.
$18.00 by Paul & Joe at Beauty Habit
An eye makeup remover that smoothly and thoroughly removes layered on or waterproof mascara without leaving an oily residue (Lancome BiFacil, I'm looking at you, kid) is tough to find. But Paul & Joe's adorably packaged Makeup Remover does the trick.
Consisting of two layers (one of essential oils and one of water-based ingredients) this remover thoroughly cleans off eye makeup without residue or irritation (and it looks gorgeous on your vanity to boot!) Take it off, take it ALLLL off!
